NBSC CELEBRATES ITS CHAMPIONS IN THE CLASSROOM
The Teachers’ Day celebration at Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) was an unforgettable occasion for the faculty—a heartfelt testament to the institution’s appreciation for its educators. Held today at the Manolo Fortich Municipal Gymnasium, the event came as a delightful surprise secretly organized by College President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, together with student leaders and various student organizations. Faculty members had no prior knowledge of the celebration, which was seamlessly integrated into the ongoing Intramurals 2025 program.
The celebration featured a variety of heartfelt performances, including song and dance numbers and a spontaneous flash mob that caught the attention of the entire faculty. However, the emotional highlight of the day came through a video presentation in which students shared personal stories, expressing their gratitude and admiration for specific teachers. Some faculty members were visibly moved as they watched students recount the impact these instructors had on their academic and personal growth.
As a token of appreciation, each teacher received a surprise gift. The tribute culminated with a photo session, first with President Jean and then with the student facilitators, creating lasting memories for both the faculty and students involved.
The occasion not only underscored the importance of strong teacher-student relationships but also reflected NBSC’s continued commitment to honoring and empowering its faculty. Through initiatives like this, the college reaffirms that its teachers are the heart of its mission to nurture and inspire the next generation of learners.
